The Estepona City Council today presented the program of cultural and leisure activities that has been organized to celebrate the Christmas holidays. The Deputy Mayor of the Sociocultural area, Begoña Ortíz, explained that this year more than thirty events will be offered in different parts of the city to enjoy one of the most anticipated dates of the year.

The mayor has indicated that the Christmas program includes events for all types of audiences and, especially, for the little ones because they are "the real stars of these parties." In this regard, he has advanced that the Consistory will recover this year the traditional Three Kings Parade, which will run on January 5 through the main streets of Estepona and Cancelada, complying with the Covid regulations.

Begoña Ortíz explained that the activities will begin tomorrow, Friday, November 26, with the official lighting of the Christmas lighting. It will take place at 7:00 p.m. in the gardens of the Botanical-Orchid Park. The event will feature performances by the Estepona pastorals 'Nostalgia Navideña' and 'Jesús Cautivo', and the Rocío de Estepona Brotherhood Choir.
