Registration "xxvi villa de estepona triathlon"
The registration period is open to participate in the XXVI 'Villa de Estepona' Triathlon, in which around 300 athletes are expected to compete
The test, which is one of the oldest in Andalusia, and which is scored for the XXIV Provincial Triathlon Circuit of Málaga, will be held on June 16
The councilor assigned to the Sports delegation, Luis Gil and the president of the Estepona Triathlon Club, Pablo Vázquez, have announced today that the deadline to participate in the XXVI 'Villa de Estepona' Triathlon has been opened, which will take place in the town on June 16 and is expected to bring together about 300 athletes.
The municipal official has declared that this competition, which is one of the oldest in Andalusia, has become a classic of local sports and a must-see event for professional and amateur athletes.
Furthermore, the mayor thanked the organization and all the volunteers for the great work they do in each edition to coordinate the participants in each of the tests and make it possible for this activity to have the great success of participation that it achieves year after year.
For his part, Pablo Vázquez has reported that the competition that counts towards the XXIV Provincial Triathlon Circuit of Málaga, is open to both federated and non-federated members of this sport. In addition, he explained that registration can be done online through the website www.triatlonandalucia.org (or directly at the following link: https://triatlonandalucia.org/competicones/xxvi-triatlon-villa-de-estepona/ ).
The period will remain open until Monday, June 10 at 11:59 p.m. and the registration price is 30 euros for federated members and 37 euros for non-federated members, as established on the registration page of the Andalusian Federation.
The competition will be held in Sprint mode. In this way, participants will have to swim a distance of 750 meters, a test that will take place on La Rada beach and will start from Diario ABC square. Afterwards, a 20-kilometer urban bicycle circuit will be carried out and to finish, the athletes will perform a 5-kilometer running race through the urban area of Estepona.

The XXVI 'Villa de Estepona' Triathlon is organized jointly by the Provincial Council of Malaga, the Estepona City Council and the Estepona Triathlon Sports Club, with the participation of the Andalusian Triathlon Federation (Malagueña Delegation) as the entity providing the entrusted services.
